So I've had my TP9SF Elite for about six months now and put probably 2,000 rounds through it without a single hiccup. The trigger is already pretty good and I've got it at about a 4.5 lb pull with a clean reset. My buddy keeps telling me to leave it alone and just shoot it, but I've been eyeballing the Grayguns flat-face trigger kit. Anyone go that route..Is it worth the $80 abd will swapping the trigger void the warranty?

Both my CANIKS have a trigger pull weight of under 4lbs (3.5&3.7). Those are factory pull weights, which you usually won't find on pistols selling for less than about $800 (unless you have an Israeli pistol, like an IWI MASADA or a BUL CHEROKEE, both pull at about 4lbs). I am a trigger fanatic, I buy based on two things - how does the pistol feel in my hand, and is the trigger pull weight acceptable (my def of "acceptable" is les than 5 lbs). I'm the same way with my long guns - if it didn't come with an accutrigger, it gets replaced with a 3.5lb CNC trigger. All of my AR's have 3.5lb triggers including one binary.
I believe that most shooters buy their gun with the thought of eventually making it somewhat distinctive from all the others of that type. CANIK's numerous factory Cerakote finishes help to do that. Would I like a little less free travel in my CANIK triggers. Certainly... but it's not a deal breaker in low priced excellence.
