Canik Mecanik Red Dot.

Before my next range session, I decided to get the Canik Mecanik M01, 3moa red dot. I really like the newer model having the battery installed on top rather than on the bottom. Having to remove an optic for battery replacement every time is just stupid to me! Install was very simple and straightforward using the same screws. It has a shake awake mode and auto brightness. Something I'm not too sure about, but the dot is very bright in my lower light living room. I also really like the ability to co-witness with my irons unlike some others I've had in the past. Another bonus, and kudos to Canik, is the supplied tools that actually performed very well for their intended purpose. Hopefully it will live up to the hype I've been seeing on the web!

Agreed. The Osight SE is another optic that fits well and allows battery replacement from the top.

Well, the Canik Mecanik M01 turned out to be a real TURD! After around 150 rounds down range, it took a dump and never came back on! After getting home and cleaning the Mete MC9, I took the Primary Arms green dot off my P365 and put it on the MC9. It's just temporary 'til I can get something else, but at least I know the PA works reliably!

After reading countless posts on this & other forums regarding the Canik optic line, I elected their closed LED Emitter MO4. My new Mete MC9 Prime came with the MO4 optic. Being a direct fit closed emitter the installation was easy & straight forward. I went a step further by adding blue Loctite & torquing the screws to 14-inch lbs. as I do with all my pistol optics. The MO4 was dialed within (2) 3 round volleys, & over 1000 rounds now fired, absolutely no movement whatsoever of the mounted MO4 optic. KG.

I did some searching around and found what looks like a great optic at an affordable price. The Osight SE enclosed emitter green dot might just be what I need. Ordered one up and it should be here tomorrow. It has a lifetime warranty and all the feedback I've seen, looks to be positive. Hopefully better than that Mecanik piece of trash!

I just purchased a MeCanik M02 Red Dot Sight. I mounted it no problem, but it didn't have the adjustment tool. Any idea where I can get one of these?

A small flathead or precision screwdriver should work fine
