I know this is going to ruffle some feathers but I think the Canik TP9 series genuinely outperforms Glock at the same or lower price point in most categories that matter to most shooters. It has a better factory trigger, better sights on most models and better ergonomics for my hand specifically. Where Glock wins is ecosystem...holsters, aftermarket parts, institutional trust but if you stripped all of that away and just compared what you get in the box for the money, it's not close. Fight me in the comments. I want real counterarguments, not "Glocks are proven" as the whole answer.

Had Canik been available in 1985, I would own no 9mm Glocks, but their 10mm was my first 10mm, and it's notably better than my 9mm Glocks. Overall, Canik makes a superior 9mm.

I have a neighbor that is a diehard Glock fan, and ALL of his triggers are horrifying - beside the fact that they feel like a small piece of lumber in the hand. However, reliable they are!

I have never shot a Glock. In fact, I have shot very few different pistols. I enjoy my Canik even though it is quite old now.
