Stock holster that ships with the TP9

I know, I know, everyone says ditch the stock holster. But honestly? I've been using the one that came in the case for range trips and range trips only and it's held up fine. The retention is decent, it's comfortable enough for OWB carry, and it didn't cost me anything extra. For anyone who's new and on a budget, don't feel like you have to immediately drop $60-80 on a Safariland or a Tier 1. The stock kit is a surprisingly complete package. That said, once I found a Vedder Lightdraw that fits perfectly, I never looked back for real carry. Just saying ...you've got time.

I used the factory holster for nearly a year before I switched it out. For range days, it worked fine and never felt sketchy. People rush upgrades way too quick when they’re just starting.

Stock holster works fine for range use, especially starting out. Upgrade later once you know what fits your carry style best.
