After having all the issues I was able to send it in for repair. After about two months I got it back. They replaced the striker assy and fired 12 rounds. The gun store I used to send it back stated I had over 20 lite strikes. What they failed to also report was the slide not going all the way forward. That is why the lite strikes. Took it to the range today with 100 rounds. Using the ammo the tech support said to use for break in. 124gr NATO rounds. I opened another ticket because this pistol is not working. First 12 round mag fired all rounds. Mag 2 15 rounds failed with three rounds left. Mag 3 15 rounds fired 10 rounds then failed. Mag 4 12 rounds failed with 5 rounds. I loaded the four mags and fired them again. The fails got worse. Then I noticed the slide was not going all the way forward. The last mad I pushed the slide with my thumb so they would fire. I really like how this pistol feels in my hand, like the trigger and it is accurate.

The cost of shipping the pistol back with gas driving 80 miles round trip to drop off then to pick it up, cost of shipping. I could by another pistol.

If the slide still isn't consistently returning to battery after service, I'd be pushing the manufacturer pretty hard at this point. Light strikes are one thing but a pistol that won't reliably go fully into battery isn't something I'd be willing to trust until it's actually fixed.

Given the time and expense you've already put into it, I'd be asking for a more thorough evaluation or possibly a replacement rather than another quick parts swap.

It shipped back to Canik Friday, the 5th. They wanted to send me the stronger recoil spring. I reminded them that they sent one already and it didn't work. it will take 6 to 8 weeks.

Received the MC9 today from Canik today. I may have to wait until the end of next week for a range trip due to we are moving to another house.
They replaced some parts and did the customary fired 12 rounds. I hope this will fix the issues I have had. I'll give another update after a range trip in August.
