Hi all! Ron from Dallas - Fort Worth joining the group. I've been looking for a good home since the CanikFanatik forum went off line a few years back. I really enjoy my Caniks - they are a really good gun at a fantastic price.

Welcome Ron. I remember hearing about CanikFanatik going dark, that was a bummer. Since you are a Canik fan already, what is your favorite one to shoot and why, trigger feel, recoil, or just the value. DFW range stories are always fun too.

Hi Alan and thank you for the welcome! It's hard to pick a favorite; the Elite SC has a great trigger and is carry sized, the TP9DA makes a great choice for nightstand duty and the Rival is a boatload of fun to shoot. If I have to pick a favorite for the range the Rival it is.

I've got a nice range called Shoot Smart near me in Grand Prairie that is my go to; Range USA is nearby in Arlington that is a great back up.

I have the predecessor to your DA. The TP9V2. My only “big” pistol. I also have a Walther PPQ 22.
