Canik MC9 mags compatibility in NY?

My brother is looking at the Canik METE MC9, but since we’re just moved to NY, finding compliant mags is a total headache.
Does anyone know if the TP9 series mags will fit the MC9? I know they’re both Caniks, but I'm not sure if the full-size mags will lock into the micro compact frame or if they’ll just stick out the bottom.
Any help on what actually swaps over would be huge!

Do you mean TP9 full size mags like 18/20 rounders, or the compact 15s? The easiest route is just grab MC9-specific 10rd mags and avoid compatibility roulette, especially with NY compliance.

Try to look specifically for the TP9 Elite SC 10-round magazines. The Elite SC is the MC9’s bigger brother, and those mags are almost identical. They’ll be much easier to find
