Hello everyone. I am a new owner of a Canik Mete MC9 from Palm Beach County, FL . I was introduced to Canik by a person at my VFW Post, where I am Commander in West Palm Beach. He builds Caniks at the West Palm Beach factory, where the make the Prime. Am I the only one who thinks the Canik naming structure is confusing? For example, I was at a gun dealer and saw Canik mags on the wall, so I asked the guy behind the counter if they had an 18 round mag for the MC9. He sold me a mag, but it was a 17-round mag. I figured I was wrong reading about the possibility of extended mags and I wanted extended mags for the shooting range, so I didn't have to load them as often. It works in my gun, but I order a spacer for my gun, and it doesn't fit because it was for an 18 round mag, and not a 17. Jeez, the Mete MC9 is totally different than the Mete MC9L, not just in size. I figured the MC9L just had a longer barrel. Is there a place that has the correct mags for my gun?
