Canik TP9SFX 20 round mags only holds 19?

My Canik TP9SFX came with two 20 round mags, but I can only seem to squeeze 19 in there.
Is the 20 capacity supposed to include one in the chamber (+1), or am I doing something wrong here?

I don't want to force it and wreck the spring, but that last round feels impossible.
Anyone else deal with this? Does the spring just need to break in, or is there a trick to it?

Try loading 19 and leaving it loaded for a few days, then try again. Also helps to press the stack down from the rear and make sure each round is fully seated back before you add the next one.

I ran into the same thing with my Metes (same mags I believe). Leave it loaded for a day or two, once the spring settles in it gets easier. I also recommend a Speed Beez mag loader, just got one, makes everything easier.

Nah, I can jam the 20th round into both of mine, but you really have to jam it, and give the mag a good hit from the bottom
