SFT with a really soft reset

Hi All - A few months ago I picked up the SFT Loadout and it's my first Canik. One thing I have an issue with is the trigger reset. It is so soft and "non-tactile" that this gun will fire a second round with barely lifting from the trigger - almost like there was an FRT in it. Matter of fact I had one instance where I shot and it spit out 2 more with hardly a lift. On a dry test the trigger will reset in about 1/16th of an inch, seriously. Anyone else?? Hoping to find some direction here before buying lots of stuff that doesn't fix it

Caniks often have a very short, soft reset. You can try slow bench testing first and if it still doubles, have a smith inspect it.

That’s not normal and I wouldn’t keep running it until someone who knows Caniks looks at it. The reset shouldn’t behave like that.

Well I think the squeaky wheel was finally heard and Canik sent me a label to send it in. Was shipped on June 2 and received by them on the 4th - no word yet
